In a small saucepan, mix the water, caster sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt under medium heat.
Stir until the sugar and cocoa powder dissolve. Once simmering, remove the pan from the heat and add the vanilla extract, chopped chocolate, and cubed butter.
Whisk until the chocolate and butter have melted and the mixture is completely smooth. Pour the spread into a jar or another container with a lid. Give Hovis® Tasty Wholemeal Thick Sliced a toast, cut them into strips, and dip them right in!
