Turkey Salad Sandwich Recipe

Nestled between two slices of Hovis® Nimble® Wholemeal bread, this Christmas turkey salad sandwich is a taste of yesterday’s festive feast, lovingly repurposed. Use some of that leftover turkey and mingle with crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes and a hint of tangy yoghurt to wrap it all together.

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices of Hovis® Nimble Wholemeal
  • 3 Thin slices of turkey
  • Lettuce
  • ½ Thinly sliced tomato
  • ½ Thinly sliced cucumber
  • ½ Teaspoon of mayonnaise or yoghurt

Tip

If you’ve got any in for Christmas, add a teaspoon of cranberry sauce for a hint of sweetness.

Slice the leftover Turkey into thin slices and spread some butter on two slices of Hovis® Nimble® Wholemeal. If you haven't got any left over Turkey, then slices of Turkey from a supermarket will also work!

Top your buttered bread with turkey slices, lettuce, a few slices of and tomato.
