Ingredients

  • 4 Slices of Hovis® Soft White Medium Sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons of basil pesto
  • 150g Mature cheddar (thinly sliced)
  • 12 Sun dried tomatoes
  • 10g Salted butter (softened)

Tip

Layer the pesto evenly over the cheese, ensuring it covers the entire slice to avoid empty bites.

Method

Spread soft butter on both sides of four slices of bread.

Place the cheese on one slice of bread, then spread the basil pesto over it. Add sundried tomatoes on top, and cover with the other slice of bread. Repeat the process for the other slices of bread to make the second sandwich.

Heat the assembled toasties in your toastie machine for 4-5 minutes each side (you can also use a pan or grill) until golden and crispy. Cut in half and serve immediately.
