Savour the pure joy of cheese on toast, where the crispy, golden bread is smothered in rich, melted cheese and topped with a burst of vibrant basil pesto. Each bite offers a crisp crunch, perfectly complemented by the sweet, roasted tomatoes on the side!

To make the pesto blitz the garlic and parmesan in a food processor to break them up. Add the pine nuts and basil, and whizz briefly until roughly chopped. Drizzle in the olive oil with a little salt, and pulse until just combined.
Grill the tomatoes on medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until softened. Meanwhile, grill the Hovis® Granary® Medium Sliced bread on one side. Turn the bread over, lay the cheese on top, and grill for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Remove the grilled bread with melted cheese from the grill. Drizzle 2-3 tbsp of pesto over the cheese, and serve alongside the grilled tomatoes.
